Building Management System Engineer

Position Summary:

The Building Management System (BMS) Engineer will play a key role in carrying out the day-to-day solution maintenance, interfacing with other engineers, and supporting our team to achieve excellence in service delivery.

The role is responsible for the delivery of client reports in line with agreed SLAs.

A strong technical understanding of the Avani product suite is fundamental to succeeding in this role.

Key Relationships:

This position reports to the Head of Customer and will be directed on a day-to-day basis by the Customer Success Team Lead. Collaboration and the development of strong working relationships with the Customer Success team is a key requirement of this role.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • The number of process ownerships
  • The number of support issues resolved

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering (preferably Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).
  • 2-5 years' experience in building services and a high-level understanding of data flows within a building.
  • Experience in TridiumNiagara or any other similar integrated control systems.
  • Plus if you have experience in BMS and are familiar with building HVAC operations.
  • A passion for driving change through data and tech.
  • Basic networking knowledge and basic windows server knowledge to conduct preliminary troubleshooting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting in Tridium Niagara or any other BMS/controls system.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills to manage routine workflows and ad hoc escalations.
  • Excellent communication skills to write summaries of issue investigation and to provide practical feedback to process owners.

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries and familiarity with at least one programming language is preferable but not necessary.

Work Hours: 6AM to 3PM Manila Time
