Job Description

The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all building systems, ensuring they're functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
  • Inspecting and resolving issues related to building systems and equipment.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure optimal functioning of facilities.
  • Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance service.
  • Improving energy efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies.

Requirements:

  1. Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer certification is mandatory.
  2. Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  5. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Must be available to work in a rotating schedule.
  8. Must be willing to be assigned to projects within Metro Manila.
