Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate leadership in managing a team of fitters, including junior fitters, fitters, and senior fitters responsible for executing all fitments within the country.
  2. Provide guidance and support to fitters as needed.
  3. Communicate effectively with the scheduler and assist in assigning fitters to jobs based on their competencies.
  4. Ensure fitment durations adhere to schedules.
  5. Maintain quality standards for fitments.
  6. Conduct on-the-job coaching for new and existing fitters.
  7. Regularly review fitter competencies.
  8. Maintain professionalism and cleanliness during operations.
  9. Investigate fitment issues related to customer complaints, record findings, and provide resolutions to the operations manager.
  10. Prepare and present fitment-related matters during operations meetings.
  11. Adhere to company policies, practices, and standards.
  12. Provide overseas onsite support to other Cartrack offices.
  13. Schedule fitters efficiently to minimize costs.
  14. Ensure fitters receive appropriate training according to SOPs.
  15. Provide excellent customer service.
  16. Meet production and service milestones.
  17. Read mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and route sheets.
  18. Support administrative functions related to quality and system maintenance.
  19. Manage operational aspects of projects, including timely execution, repairs, site meetings, and CRM updates.
  20. Be familiar with AC and DC control circuits and fault diagnosis.
  21. Prepare weekly and monthly fitment reports.
  22. Use measuring tools like inside micrometers.
  23. Fit taper keys into couplings as required.

Requirements:

  • Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent in Engineering (Computer, Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronic, or others).
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably a Senior Executive in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or similar.
  • Experience in automotive industry maintenance is preferred.
