A Senior Lead Aircon Technician is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) industry. This role typically involves both hands-on technical work as well as overseeing and mentoring a team of technicians. Senior Lead Aircon Technicians are responsible for complex installations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely within their team or department.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems like split units, central air, VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems, etc.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to identify and fix complex issues in air conditioning systems, such as electrical problems, refrigerant leaks, compressor issues, etc.
  • System Design Knowledge: Ability to design and recommend HVAC systems for different types of buildings or facilities, ensuring they meet environmental and energy efficiency standards.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Provide leadership to junior technicians, supervise their work, and offer training to improve their skills.
  • Customer Service: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and deliver quality service that meets or exceeds expectations.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience working with air conditioning and refrigeration systems, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in diagnosing complex issues and providing high-level technical support.
  • Proven experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of various air conditioning systems.
  • Experience in large-scale commercial systems and knowledge of building management systems (BMS) is often preferred.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage customer service expectations while ensuring the highest level of work quality.

Typical Work Environments:

  • Residential Buildings: Home air conditioning units and repairs.
  • Commercial Buildings: Large-scale HVAC systems for office buildings, malls, hotels, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php1,100.00 per day
