Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership skills by managing a team of fitters, including junior fitters, fitters, and senior fitters responsible for executing all fitments within the country.
  • Provide guidance and support to fitters as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the scheduler and assist in assigning fitters to jobs based on their competency.
  • Ensure fitment durations are within schedule.
  • Maintain quality standards for fitments.
  • Conduct on-the-job coaching for new and existing fitters.
  • Regularly review fitter competency.
  • Maintain professional image and operational cleanliness during tasks.
  • Investigate fitment issues related to customer complaints, record findings, and provide resolutions to the operations manager.
  • Prepare and present fitment-related reports during operations meetings.
  • Adhere to company policies, practices, and standards.
  • Provide overseas onsite support to other company offices.
  • Manage fitter schedules to minimize costs.
  • Ensure fitters receive appropriate training according to standard operating procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Meet production and service milestones.
  • Read mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and route sheets.
  • Support quality and system maintenance functions.
  • Manage operational aspects of projects, including timely execution, repairs, site meetings, and CRM updates.
  • Be familiar with AC and DC control circuits and fault diagnosis.
  • Generate weekly and monthly fitment reports.
  • Read and use precision measurement tools like micrometers.
  • Fit taper keys into couplings as required.

Requirements:

  • Higher Secondary/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, or higher in Engineering (Computer, Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronic, or related fields).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferably a Senior Executive in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or related.
  • Experience in automotive industry maintenance is preferred.
