QA Engineer, Associate

The QA Engineer, Associate, will work on Infor Landmark Products, and will be responsible for both manual and automation testing. He/She will work closely with development teams to understand requirements, execute test cases, report bugs, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

What You Will Need?

Required skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in Java
• Basic understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, automation frameworks).
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
• With at least less than 18 months' experience in development, research, product testing or support.
• Willingness to report onsite at Infor Manila office in BGC, Taguig, 3x per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to understand business processes, product features, analyze new requirements and define complete tests.
• Good testing and defect-finding skills and understanding of QA methodologies
• Strong logical, analytical and technical skills
• Strong, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Web and/or Desktop automation
• Experience in Software Testing

• Learn and understand the product features and requirements.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features.
• Create and maintain automation scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Report, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to resolve issues.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Install and configure required QA tools and software.
• Request and manage access to test environments and dashboards.
• Document test results and contribute to test plans and QA documentation.
• Continuously learn and adopt best practices in software testing and automation.
• Report to QA Supervisor
