Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate has previously built an automated test environment from the ground up, with strong experience using Cypress or Playwright alongside BrowserStack, and possesses excellent JavaScript engineering skills.

The successful candidate will use open source/commercial frameworks & libraries to build out our automated testing system and suite of automated tests. They will also work on both browser-based UI testing and API testing, collaborate closely with Software Engineers, and partner with engineers to build efficient processes for reporting issues discovered by automated tests and ensuring effective follow-up.

Responsibilities
  • Build automated testing systems and suites of automated tests.
  • Work on both browser-based UI testing and API testing.
  • Collaborate closely with manual QA engineers to prioritise which tests need automation.
  • Partner with engineers to develop efficient processes for reporting issues discovered by automated tests.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Proven experience building an automated test environment from the ground up.
  • Strong experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
  • Proficiency with BrowserStack for web testing.
  • High level of JavaScript engineering skill.
  • Previous experience collaborating closely with Software Engineers.

  • Timezone flexibility: Must be comfortable working with some overlap with UK business hours (GMT/BST) to collaborate effectively with the majority of the team.
  • Language: Must be fluent in English (written and spoken) to collaborate with our global team.
