We are looking for an experienced QA ASSOCIATE to be assigned at our Head Office in Sta. Ana, Manila.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular quality checks during production or service delivery
  2. Monitor and enforce quality control procedures and standards
  3. Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
  4. Document quality issues and assist in developing corrective actions
  5. Collaborate with production, operations, and logistics teams to maintain product quality
  6. Prepare and maintain quality reports and documentation
  7. Assist in training staff on quality standards and procedures
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
  9. Report and escalate quality concerns to the PRDD head
  10. Conduct quality checks and sensory evaluations on newly developed and existing menu items
  11. Assist in product testing, including shelf-life studies, yield testing, cooking procedures, and standardization
  12. Ensure all food products meet food safety standards, including proper labeling, handling, and storage
  13. Monitor and document food trials, including batch formulation, production performance, and consistency
  14. Coordinate with Commissary and Store QA for validation and pilot runs of new products
  15. Maintain documentation for recipe specifications, SOPs, and quality standards
  16. Identify potential quality issues during R&D and recommend improvements or corrective actions
  17. Support training sessions for kitchen and operations teams on new product handling and preparation
  18. Collaborate with R&D chefs, product developers, and other departments for project alignment

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or other related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in the food solutions or commissary industry is an advantage

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent time management skills
  • Good understanding of the food and beverage industry and the assigned category, including knowledge of ingredients, packaging materials, production processes, and food technology
  • Familiarity with quality and food safety standards is preferred
