JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Leads the application technical design for products/platforms offered by the company
  2. Identifies and analyzes software and application development opportunities
  3. Oversees, coordinates, plans, and leads IT software development projects in the company
  4. Meets and collaborates with stakeholders to discuss software projects
  5. Manages the internal or outsourced developers by assigning tasks such as coding, testing, and analytics
  6. Creates the corresponding technical documents for new and existing software programs
  7. Designs, documents, implements, and coordinates IT software development projects
  8. Reviews code work for accuracy and functionality
  9. Regularly analyzes code segments to identify process improvements
  10. Provides QA testing for existing and ongoing system development by junior and/or outsourced developers
  11. Manages project timelines and tasks
  12. Provides Daily/Weekly/Monthly updates and reports regarding project developments and other reports needed by Management
  13. Coaches and manages the productivity and performance of the IT involved in the project
  14. Keeps up with developments in area of expertise by reading and learning about new skills and trends

2. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to: IT Head
  • Handles: 3rd party developers and outsourced partners
  • Closely coordinates with: All department heads, Stakeholders, 3rd party vendors

REQUIREMENTS:

1. EDUCATION: Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or related

SKILLS:

  • 8 years of work experience in the IT field with knowledge in Systems Analysis and Programming
  • Exposure/experience in leading a development team
  • Experience in handling outsourced/3rd party developers
  • Experience with consumer-facing UI/UX development
  • Must have experience collaborating with Sales and Operations team
  • Fluent proficiency level in both English and Tagalog written and oral communication
  • Coding experience in PHP or Java or .Net developing Web applications in a cloud environment
  • Strong project management skills with experience in using AGILE methodologies and cloud environments

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Number of hours excluding lunch break: 8 hours (total of 9 hours with lunch break)
  • Shift Schedule: 8am-5pm
  • Position Level: Junior Manager (No paid OT)
  • Work schedule: 5-day work week with weekends off
