Job Summary

The Construction Manager is a vital contributor to construction projects, responsible for ensuring their safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. This role involves overseeing contractors, coordinating project activities, managing technical aspects, and representing the owner's interests. The Construction Manager plays a pivotal role in project success through comprehensive project planning, efficient coordination, vigilant cost management, diligent financial oversight, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight, Safety, Quality, and Technical Compliance: Ensure contractor compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards. Oversee construction activities, emphasizing safety, timeliness, and compliance. Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Project Planning, Coordination, and Cost Control: Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with project plans. Implement control measures to manage project scope, time, and costs.
  • Cost Management and Financial Oversight (Company): Monitor actual team costs against budget and forecast. Oversee billing and collections for CM services. Collaborate with finance and accounting to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in construction project management.
  • Experience with Cold Storage Facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, codes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, tools, and technologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation, risk management, and problem-solving. Commitment to continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends.
