About the role

Triton Constructions Development Corporation is seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC- Licensed Engineer and Materials Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our civil/structural engineering division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our construction projects. This is a full-time position based in Bacoor City, Cavite.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) plans for all construction projects
  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with plans, specifications, and relevant building codes and regulations
  • Analysing material testing results and taking appropriate actions to address any non-conformances or deficiencies
  • Liaising with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all QA/QC activities and findings
  • Providing technical guidance and training to construction teams on quality best practices
  • Collaborating with the materials engineering team to ensure the selection and use of appropriate construction materials

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a valid Professional Engineering (PE) or Materials Engineering license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA/QC or materials engineering role within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of construction materials, testing methods, and quality control processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for quality management, data analysis, and reporting
