We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Purchasing Associate to support our procurement operations, specifically for upscale and high-volume restaurant environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience in premium F&B purchasing and supplier coordination, and understands the fast-paced demands of top-tier dining operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for high-quality food and beverage products, equipment, and supplies

  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods aligned with the restaurant's standards

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen and service teams for accurate forecasting

  • Track orders and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies or delays

  • Monitor supplier performance and pricing trends to identify opportunities for savings

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vetted suppliers and premium product distributors

  • Conduct regular evaluations of ingredients and supplies for consistency and quality

  • Ensure all purchased items meet food safety and quality standards, including handling certifications and documentation

  • Coordinate with chefs and department heads for special orders, seasonal needs, and menu changes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2–3 years experience in purchasing for upscale restaurants, hotels, or F&B groups

  • Strong knowledge of high-end and imported food products, kitchen equipment, and restaurant supply chain operations

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Skilled in vendor negotiation and cost control

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory or procurement software

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
