Accounts Payable Specialist

The role of the Accounts Payable Specialist involves managing and overseeing accounts payable operations within a real estate project division. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices related to RPT, HOA dues, third-party vendors, insurances, and commissions.
  • Schedule and prepare checks, resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
  • Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments as needed.
Key Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in real estate industry is highly preferred.
