The Operations Head is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar and club of the Hydro Complex to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience. This role includes managing the staff, ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations, overseeing the club's performance, and developing strategies to boost club attendance and revenue. The Operations Head will work closely with the marketing, finance, and entertainment teams to create an exciting atmosphere and maintain a vibrant environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage daily club operations, including opening, closing, and ensuring smooth functioning during club hours.
  • Oversee inventory management for bar and club supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure the club environment is always safe, clean, and conducive to a positive guest experience.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of club operations.

Team Leadership & Staff Management:

  • Lead, train, and supervise club staff, including bartenders, security, waitstaff, DJ, and entertainers.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
  • Implement staff schedules to ensure efficient manpower during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Foster a positive, motivated, and professional work culture among staff members.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the restaurant, bar and club's budget, ensuring cost-efficiency while meeting performance goals in coordination with the Outlet Managers
  • Monitor daily sales, track revenue, and analyze profit margins to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on payroll management and budget forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through ticket sales, events, VIP services, and promotions.

Customer Experience & Satisfaction:

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns or complaints promptly.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience, ensuring a high standard of service and entertainment.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of special events, parties, and themed nights to attract new and repeat customers.
  • Ensure that safety protocols and regulations, including crowd control and alcohol service, are adhered to.

Marketing & Promotions:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote club events, offers, and theme nights across various platforms (social media, website, local advertising).
  • Analyze the success of marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build partnerships with local influencers, brands, and vendors to enhance the club's image and increase its reach.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with local and national laws and regulations, including health and safety, noise ordinances, and liquor licensing.
  • Work closely with security personnel to implement crowd control measures and handle emergency situations.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patrons and staff by overseeing emergency procedures, fire safety, and first-aid protocols.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze operational data, including guest attendance, revenue trends, and customer feedback, to assess performance.
  • Report regularly to senior management with performance insights, financial reports, and improvement recommendations.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to track progress toward financial and operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in nightclub, bar, or hospitality management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior operational role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial management, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
  • Knowledge of relevant local laws, health regulations, and safety standards.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the nightlife industry and understanding of current trends in entertainment.
