Job DescriptionAs a Business Director, you will lead work for some of the most popular consumer brands globally, impacting nearly 2 billion people in the fastest-growing region. You will work with clients passionate about success and social change. The Group Account Director manages client accounts, develops brand strategies, negotiates fees and contracts, oversees staffing, and maintains client relationships, providing high-level support to the Account Service team.
Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of brands.
- Set creative and strategic direction in collaboration with Creative Directors and Strategic Planners.
- Develop and implement interactive strategic plans with Senior Planners.
- Resolve high-level account and production issues, involving the Managing Director when necessary.
- Build and maintain top-tier client relationships; attend high-profile campaigns and presentations.
- Oversee fee and contract negotiations, budget issues, and staffing adjustments.
- Track revenue and analyze profitability.
- Lead new business pitches as requested.
- Continuously seek to improve work quality and processes.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling within the Groupe.
- Represent the Groupe with discretion and professionalism.
- Minimum 12 years of client management experience in an agency setting.
- Deep understanding of marketing, digital production, and high-level digital communication.
- Ability to craft thoughtful digital business strategies and analyze digital, social, and mobile landscapes.
- Thorough knowledge of the interactive ecosystem, including social, mobile, experiential, and search marketing.
- Proficiency in measurement reporting and analytics.
- Ability to motivate and push clients and creatives towards innovative interactive projects.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen in budgeting, estimating, and profitability analysis.
- Proven track record of building trust through critical thinking and composure under stress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Strong initiative and follow-through capabilities.
