Reports to: ProTech Account Management Head
Employment Type: Project-based / Full-time
To drive awareness and sales of ProTech Shield device protection plans for smartphones, laptops, gadgets, and appliances by actively engaging in-store customers, executing merchandising initiatives, assisting in claims support, and collecting key shopper and store insights to support the business.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Generation
Proactively approach customers to offer and explain Shield Gold Device Protection Plans.
Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
Assist in the registration of customer plans via the provided portal or device.
In-store Training and Merchandising
Ensure promotional materials and display collaterals are properly installed and maintained.
Participate in product knowledge trainings and cascade updates to store staff when needed.
Promotion Execution
Support the implementation of in-store promos, flash deals, and bundled offers involving Shield Gold.
Execute launch activities, handout flyers, and promote via mall activations when scheduled.
Customer Engagement & Education
Explain the benefits of device protection (e.g., accidental & liquid damage repair) and provide instore staff training.
Use visual aids or real-life examples to engage and convince buyers.
Address objections and ensure clear communication of plan terms.
Claims Processing Support
Assist customers with initiating their claims through the ProTech online portal.
Guide customers in submitting required documents (e.g., IMEI, damage photos).
Coordinate with customer service for any claim-related escalations.
Insights and Feedback CollectionGather shopper feedback on product understanding and interest.
Report competitor activities, pricing, and customer objections.
Reporting
Submit daily and weekly reports on sales performance, customer queries, and store feedback.
Report on stock levels of marketing materials and merchandising assets
College Level
Retail or sales experience is an advantage
Good communication and persuasion skills
Customer-focused and confident in engaging with shoppers
Tech-savvy or comfortable using mobile/web platforms
Willing to be assigned in retail outlets and work on weekends and holidays
Daily and monthly plan sales targets
Attach rate (% of customers buying protection plan with device)
Claims support efficiency and customer satisfaction
Merchandising compliance
Quality of reporting and shopper insights gathered
