About the Role
The Insurance Maturities Officer is responsible for handling policies that have reached their maturity date. This involves verifying documentation, calculating benefits, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and efficient disbursement of funds.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Maturity Processing- Review and verify the details of all maturing insurance policies.
- Ensure all required transaction documentation are complete.
- Confirm policy terms, benefits, and maturity values based on policy records.
- Accurately calculate maturity benefits, including bonuses, interests and additional payouts.
- Coordinate with other departments for timely disbursement of funds.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in payouts or payout details.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding maturity timelines, requirements and benefits.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to policy maturity.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication and excellent service.
- Ensure all processes adhere to regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondences.
- Prepare reports on matured policies, payouts, and pending cases for management review.
- Work closely with stakeholders to streamline processes and requirements.
- Suggest improvements to the maturity process for better efficiency and customer experience.
- Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the maturity process and recommend enhancements.
- Lead a cross-functional team in implementing new initiatives geared towards process and service improvement.
