We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team for the Premier Relationship Officer role.

The jobholder's primary responsibility is to assist Premier Relationship Managers (RMs) in sustaining and maintaining profitable client relationships. A Premier Relationship Officer will be assigned to assist RMs in handling their Premier clients in achieving the RM's primary targets assigned based on Premier's key strategic imperatives (i.e. expand the Premier client base, increase total Funds Under Management, produce asset sales, and generate a target level of income) through but not limited to delivering a superior level of customer service and personal attention.

In this role, you will:

  1. Proactively contact all the clients in the portfolio to ensure that they are satisfied with the products and services provided, as well as to establish meaningful long-term relationships.
  2. Ensure service delivered adheres to Group Service Level Standards (e.g. customer waiting time, phone handling efficiency, response to customer complaints, etc.)
  3. Provide excellent account handling service and administrative support.
  4. Handle difficult client situations, raising issues to upper management as appropriate, and recommending ways to resolve them.
  5. Ensure that client transactions and interactions meet all compliance/audit and sales quality standards (i.e. a/c opening and closing, booking of investments, follow up necessary documents).
  6. Proactively explain products and risk assessment in assisting client purchase of WMT products and assists in acquiring new clients by generating leads from existing clients' referrals.
  7. Attending various sales, product, and technical skills training provided, passing the requisite accreditation exams, and displaying the minimum required skills/competencies for the PA's.
  8. Assist RMs in identifying clients' financial goals and expectations in order to help clients select appropriate investment opportunities considering their risk-return profiles and investment portfolios.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Customer oriented skills.
  2. Effective oral/written communication and problem-solving skills.
  3. Aptitude for numbers and computations.
  4. Strong organisation skills.
  5. Knows basic retail banking regulations.
  6. Familiar with/ Ability to pick up quickly HSBC MNL Branch guidelines and policies.
  7. Must be a Bachelor's Degree Holder.
