The position

As a Business Insights Manager, you will be integral to advancing our strategic initiatives through the application of data and insights. You will be responsible for data extraction, visualization, reporting, and providing insights recommendations to drive our strategic initiatives forward. You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable business insights, analyzing affiliate performance, engaging with key accounts, leading target setting and forecasting efforts, and developing pricing strategies. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to business planning and automation, providing comprehensive insights that influence demand and promote continuous improvement. You will also have the opportunity to lead projects and network with regional partners to support the affiliate's strategic goals and aspirations.

Responsibilities

  • Data Extraction and Collection: Identify, collect, and organize data from various sources to support business analysis and reporting needs. Ensure data accuracy and completeness for subsequent analytical tasks.
  • Data Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders. Present complex data in a visually appealing and easily understandable format.
  • In-depth Analysis: Analyze monthly in-market sales, assist in budgeting and business planning, and communicate key opportunities and challenges to the management. Utilize data extraction techniques to gather relevant data for comprehensive analysis.
  • Insights Recommendation: Analyze data to generate actionable insights and make recommendations that will drive business performance and strategic initiatives. Communicate these insights effectively to stakeholders to guide decision-making processes.
  • Engagement with Key Accounts: Engage in continuous discussions with Key Accounts regarding sales channel optimization and market insights. Extract and analyze data to support these engagements effectively, and use visualizations to present findings.
  • Target Setting & Forecasting: Lead target setting discussions, sales forecasting, and ensure accurate data in the PDI system during budget planning. Extract and utilize historical data to inform these processes, and provide visual representations of targets and forecasts.
  • Business Planning and Automation: Provide analysis and insights on affiliate performance, formulate business cases for future product launches, and lead discussions on demand shaping and continuous improvement of business processes using Power BI and other innovative tools.
  • Pricing: Formulate pricing business cases, coordinate with internal stakeholders and regional counterparts, and maintain affiliate prices in the Pricing 360 system. Use data extraction methods to gather necessary pricing information and market data, and visualize pricing strategies and impacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Preferably 3-4 years in a quantitative field with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights through advanced data analysis.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar platforms is required.
  • The ability to translate strategies into ambitious goals, innovative mindset, demonstrated flexibility and curiosity, in addition to strong analytical skills and communication skills.
