Clarke Point, a global staffing solutions provider, is recruiting an Executive Assistant on behalf of Adroit Accounting (https://www.adroitaccounting.com.au/), a Melbourne-based accounting firm. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can provide high-level administrative and bookkeeping support to our team. This role is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor (online freelancer).
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the accountant's calendar, emails, and client communications.
- Prepare client documentation and maintain records.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and invoicing in Xero.
- Reconcile financial statements and upload receipts.
- Oversee client onboarding and general job administration.
- Assist with social media management and content creation.
- Maintain and organise financial software records and databases.
- Minimum 5 years as an Executive Assistant, preferably in an accounting firm.
- High proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- Experience working as an Independent Contractor for an Australian, American or similar client
- Expertise in Xero and Xero Practice Manager.
- Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Experience liaising with clients and drafting professional emails.
- Willingness to work in the Australian time zone (AEDT).
- Experience with CAS360 and Ignition.
- Familiarity with MYOB, QuickBooks, and Intuit.
- Background in financial auditing or insurance.
- Strong Canva skills for content creation.
- Experience managing newsletters and email campaigns.

This role is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor with the following additional benefits:
- Philippine Regular Holidays are 100% paid if not worked or 200% paid if worked
- Special Non-Working Holidays are paid with additional 30% if worked or can be taken as unpaid leave
- 12 paid vacation leaves per year are granted upon the successful completion of the probation period
- 6 paid sick leaves per year are available
- ₱2,500 per month allowance is given towards family health insurance upon the successful completion of the probation period
- Flexible working environment, e.g., remote work – working entirely from home
