Overview

About the role. Reporting into the Head of Operations, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistic Manager to join the JG Manpower & General Contractor Services Corporation's team based in San Fernando Pampanga. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the company's logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimise storage, transportation, and distribution processes

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the company's warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities

  • Forecasting and planning logistics requirements to meet customer demands and business objectives

  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure competitive rates and reliable service

  • Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Providing leadership and mentoring to the logistics team to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar logistic management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise logistics processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

  • Proficient in the use of logistics management software and data analysis tools

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to logistics and supply chain management

  • Ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions to meet deadlines

  • Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
