The Delivery Helper supports the logistics and delivery operations of the company by assisting in the transportation and distribution of goods to customers or designated locations. This role involves loading and unloading items, ensuring efficient, timely and accurate delivery, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
· Loading and Unloading:
o Assist in loading goods onto delivery vehicles based on delivery schedules.
o Unload items from delivery trucks and ensure they are placed in designated areas.
· Delivery Assistance:
o Accompany delivery drivers and assist in navigating routes to destinations.
o Help in delivering goods to customers or designated locations as per delivery instructions.
· Product Verification:
o Verify the accuracy of delivered products against invoices or delivery orders.
o Report any discrepancies or damages to the Delivery Supervisor or Logistics Manager.
· Customer Service:
o Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.
o Address customer inquiries or concerns and escalate issues as needed.
· Safety and Compliance:
o Adhere to safety standards and protocols during loading, unloading, and transportation.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to delivery operations.
· Inventory Management:
o Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting periodic stock checks.
o Report inventory levels and any inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
· Vehicle Maintenance:
o Help in maintaining cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
o Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure safe operation.
· Documentation and Reporting:
o Complete delivery-related paperwork, such as delivery logs and incident reports.
o Provide timely and accurate updates to supervisors on delivery progress and issues.
· Team Collaboration:
o Collaborate effectively with delivery drivers and other team members to achieve delivery goals.
o Support colleagues in achieving overall departmental objectives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php12,168.00 per month
