Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor accreditation and maintain effective relationships.
  • Procurement Processes: Conduct Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations on commercial terms, including pricing and payment conditions.
  • Bid Evaluation: Analyze bid results and cost structures, providing recommendations to management.
  • Order Management: Monitor and expedite order deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
  • Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to TaskUs's procurement policies and ethical standards.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to review contracts and facilitate negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement, preferably at a supervisory level.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of the procurement process and purchasing strategies.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical abilities.
  • Personal Traits: Assertive, high integrity, and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Communication: Proficient in both written and verbal communication.

Procurement Officer at TaskUs would be expected to:

  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to TaskUs's Global Code of Conduct, ensuring all procurement activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain Integrity: Uphold the company's commitment to integrity by avoiding conflicts of interest and ensuring transparency in all procurement processes.
  • Foster Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, ethical relationships with suppliers, ensuring fair and transparent negotiations.
  • Promote Sustainability: Support TaskUs's commitment to sustainability initiatives within the company and you will review contracts and do negotiations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of procurement experience preferably in supervisory level.
  • Specializes in purchasing and with strong knowledge of the overall procurement process.
  • Strong negotiation skills, leadership capability and analytical skills.
  • Assertive with high integrity.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
