DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for the procurement department; processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records of purchases, communicating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with internal departments to identify and fulfill their purchasing needs, ultimately aiming to obtain the best possible price and quality for required goods and services.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Track orders (Purchase Order) and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with warehouse regarding delivery, goods receipts of PO, delivery receipts, and sales invoice of suppliers.
- Track and monitor Purchase Order delivery, sales invoices, delivery receipts, and goods receipts.
- Coordinate with accounting and audit department regarding sales invoice and delivery receipts.
- Coordinate with Treasury Department regarding check payment for release.
- Source for new suppliers and get the best credit terms for the company
- Continuously expand a pool of suppliers related to the nature of business to ensure that we always get the best deal
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with procurement systems and databases.
- Strong mathematical skills for price analysis and cost calculations.
- Ability to adapt and learn new processes and systems quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
