Position Summary

The key role of Business Development Officer – Hospitality and Residential at BTicino Philippines is responsible for driving business growth in the commercial and residential sectors. This role involves managing key accounts, developing strong relationships with developers, contractors, interior designers (IDs), architects (ARs), and electrical consultants, and ensuring the successful specification of Legrand products in various projects.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs) and DESCRIPTION

SALES

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, account status, and market trends.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and professional associations to promote Legrand products and solutions.
  • Manage assigned accounts including developers, contractors, IDs, ARs, and electrical consultants.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and expand business within each account.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hospitality and residential sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and projects.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and projects.

COMMUNICATION

  • Provide feedback to management on market conditions and client needs.
  • Work closely with IDs, ARs, and electrical consultants to ensure Legrand products are specified in commercial and residential projects.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase Legrand's solutions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including developers, contractors, IDs, ARs, and electrical consultants.

GENERAL

  • Strong coordination with local & regional marketing & supply chain.
  • Assist with additional duties, as required by manager.
  • Be a responsible Business Development Officer.
  • Must be aware of and comply with all internal policies and procedures as required.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communication Manager on market specific needs and trends, forecast and marketing tools.
  • Be involved/participate in major industry events and conferences to generate new business leads, brand awareness and networking.

  • Report incidents/accidents by filling out the Incident Report form.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Current Driver's license.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
