About Klook:
Klook is a global travel services platform that provides travelers with the best local experiences, activities, and products. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic and passionate Community Engagement Manager to help us build and maintain a vibrant online community and foster deeper engagement on key social platforms such as Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Role Overview:
As a Community Engagement Manager at Klook, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating authentic relationships between our brand and its diverse, passionate community of travelers. You will manage and engage with users across social media platforms, particularly Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, responding to comments, curating discussions, and actively contributing to the creation of user-generated content (UGC). This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and proactive individual who loves engaging with people, has a deep understanding of social media dynamics, and thrives on building strong online communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Reddit Community Engagement:
Actively engage with relevant travel and experience-focused subreddits to promote Klook's services and generate discussion around travel topics.
Monitor and respond to user comments and posts related to Klook or travel experiences in a timely and authentic manner.
Foster meaningful discussions and encourage the sharing of personal travel experiences.
Identify opportunities for collaboration with Reddit influencers, brand ambassadors, and other community-driven initiatives.
Social Media Engagement (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok):
Monitor and respond to comments on owned Klook content across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to create a lively, interactive environment.
Assist in developing and curating content that encourages user engagement, such as polls, Q&As, and travel tips.
Identify and engage with influencers or UGC creators who align with Klook's brand voice to drive engagement and collaboration.
Engage with users who share Klook-related content to acknowledge their experience and encourage further interaction.
User-Generated Content (UGC) Strategy:
Collaborate with users to generate high-quality travel content that highlights Klook's services and experiences.
Encourage users to share their travel moments by creating challenges, hashtags, or rewards for sharing their experiences using Klook.
Curate and showcase UGC across Klook's social channels to build trust and excitement around our services.
Track performance of UGC campaigns and analyze insights to inform future community engagement strategies.
Community Insights & Reporting:
Track and analyze engagement metrics on Reddit and social media channels to understand audience preferences and optimize content strategy.
Provide feedback to the marketing team on community sentiment, emerging trends, and potential areas for improvement.
Stay up to date with social media trends, Reddit community behavior, and relevant travel topics to keep content fresh and engaging.
Brand Advocacy & Relationship Building:
Build strong relationships with community members, influencers, and advocates to promote long-term brand loyalty.
Address any negative or sensitive comments/issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring Klook's reputation remains positive.
Act as a brand ambassador for Klook in conversations and initiatives, promoting travel opportunities and the value of Klook's offerings.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in community management, social media, or digital marketing, ideally within the travel, tourism, or lifestyle industries.
Reddit Expertise: Familiarity with Reddit's ecosystem, including its subreddits, user behavior, and engagement tactics.
Social Media Proficiency: Solid understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok platforms, content formats, and best practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and build relationships in a tone that aligns with the Klook brand.
Creative Thinker: Ability to craft engaging content and responses that feel natural, authentic, and community-driven.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Reddit-specific analytics) and ability to derive insights from data.
Passion for Travel: A genuine love for travel and experiences, with an eagerness to interact with a community of like-minded individuals.
