MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic, and energetic individuals to fill the following vacancy:

The role involves providing assistance to all phone-in inquiries and requests related to customer assistance, complaints, inpatient and outpatient verification, membership status, etc. The position requires coordination with other departments to address concerns effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Handle telephone inquiries and provide assistance promptly.
  2. Facilitate validation, verification, and approval of outpatient consultations and procedures.
  3. Address dental inquiries.
  4. Prepare patient information sheets for hospital admission reports received via phone.
  5. Coordinate with the Underwriting Department (URG) and Revenue Management Department (RMD) to verify membership and payment status for members using benefits on inpatient or outpatient basis.
  6. Log customer complaints using the designated form and work towards resolving these issues.
  7. Assist internal customers with their concerns.
  8. Maintain an average of at least 6 patients per hour, totaling approximately 48 patients per day, as assessed weekly and monthly.
