The new Inside Sales Manager will spearhead growth in the SMB (small to medium business) segments by leading a team of 10–12 sales professionals, cultivating strong customer relationships, and driving the promotion of Crayon's products and services.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Build and lead a skilled, motivated, and dedicated inside sales team, fostering a results-oriented culture.
- Execute essential people management processes effectively and on time, including setting goals, conducting performance evaluations, managing compensation reviews, and facilitating career development conversations.
- Drive team success by achieving and exceeding annual revenue and margin targets.
- Strengthen customer retention by addressing their business needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Establish strategic partnerships with customers by supporting cloud adoption, facilitating Enterprise Agreements (EAs), and implementing Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.
Your Competencies:
- Over 7 years of proven experience in sales within the cloud, software, or IT/technology industry.
- At least 3 years of experience as a sales manager, with relevant experience of managing multiple direct reports.
- Expertise in Microsoft Licensing Models (MCP preferred), SAM, and Enterprise Licensing; certifications in SAM/Licensing are a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge in Virtualization technologies, O365, Azure, and SAM, including their licensing frameworks, is highly valued.
