The Opportunity

The Senior Specialist – Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be part of the Finance Data and Automation team. The successful candidate will deliver key automation initiatives for Finance stakeholders and may contribute to AI projects. This requires working closely with Finance users and SMEs to understand and design high-quality automations and own initiatives end-to-end. A successful candidate will be a trusted partner for the business who understands business processes and provides automation solutions by re-engineering processes.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with stakeholders from different Finance verticals.
  • Consult stakeholders to propose the best-suited automation solution.
  • Build, manage, and optimize end-to-end automations while ensuring security and compliance.
  • Become familiar with the finance ecosystem at Agoda.
  • Work with Gen AI technology to deliver efficiency-saving automation projects.
What you'll need to succeed (MUST Have)
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate or equivalent technical degree.
  • 8+ years of experience with RPA tools, with at least 5 years in combined Blue Prism and Power Platform.
  • End-to-end delivery of at least 10 projects using Power Platform and Blue Prism individually.
  • High sense of ownership and growth mindset; ability to be self-directed.
  • Establish robust RPA governance, bug/change request prioritization, and strong control over scheduling of bots to ensure high Bot utilization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence peers and build relationships within Finance and cross-functionally.
Nice to have
  • Accounting/financial knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of ITGC controls and SOX compliance.
  • Process mining (Celonis), OCR (Rossum), and Alteryx knowledge.
  • Experience in full-stack development – UI/UX, API development, backend, Postgres DB.
  • Knowledge of procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), and record-to-report (R2R).
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodology; Gen AI implementation experience.
  • Other helpful skills – Oracle Fusion, Celonis certification, Power Automate Desktop certification.
