Business Development Manager

Role Description
The Business Development Manager will be a key driver in KRM's growth, focusing on expanding new channels and partnerships, working with our re/insurance partners to develop new products, and building the company's brand and marketing strategy. They will also work closely with company management to assess and support strategic market and business expansion opportunities. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role requires a dynamic individual with strong networks, strategic thinking, and the ability to support broader business strategies and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Channel and Partner Development
- Identify and establish new channels and partnerships to support business growth.
- Build and nurture relationships with re/insurance companies, affinity partners, and other stakeholders.
Product Development
- Analyze market trends and client needs to conceptualize and launch innovative re/insurance products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement product offerings aligned with market opportunities and company strategy.
Brand and Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to strengthen KRM's brand presence in the market.
- Lead marketing campaigns, execute thought leadership and partner engagement events, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Business Strategy and Expansion Support
- Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to develop and implement strategic initiatives for business growth.
- Provide insights, recommendations, and support for market expansion opportunities, competitive positioning, and operational enhancements, leveraging AI and Technology.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, consulting, investment banking, sales, or marketing in the insurance or financial services industry.
Education: Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills, with executive presence.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with AI-driven solutions, digital transformation strategies, or automation tools is a plus.
