Job Overview

Follow demand and capacity analysis, production control, and inventory control of main projects to meet production, delivery demand, cost, and schedule requirements within the manager's direction.

Job RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesProduction control
  • Review resource allocation weekly and production plan monthly, and monitor daily output.
  • Oversee material supply and ensure smooth production to avoid downtime.
Delivery performance
  • Review backlog and analyze the root cause of past due orders; oversee abnormal production status.
  • Prepare related materials and initiate meetings to resolve issues.
  • Communicate with sales and other TE entities regarding order changes.
Inventory control
  • Check and analyze inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods based on MPS. Update MRP to component planners and suppliers.
  • Review open purchase orders and take necessary actions (pull in, pull out, cancel); update schedules with suppliers.
NG Inventory Clearance
  • Follow up on blocked inventory and push owners to resolve issues.
  • Monitor RMA process closely.
LT Reduction
  • Conduct capacity and demand analysis to gradually reduce lead times.
  • Ensure SAP lead time data is accurate and stable.
PO Management
  • Create and release POs based on aligned MPS.
  • Coordinate with operations to manage POs timely and accurately.
Demand & Capacity Analysis
  • Communicate with customers and the global demand team.
  • Evaluate demand and capacity status from IBP.
  • Review project schedules for effective demand and capacity control.
MPS & MRP
  • Create MPS based on demand, capacity, stock policy, and supply status.
  • Arrange incoming materials and production accordingly.
EHS
  • Attend EHS training and familiarize with emergency response plans.
  • Participate actively in EHS targets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of planning and experience in electronics.
Key Competencies
  • Proficient in computer/office software, SAP, data processing, and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Open-minded, resilient under pressure, team-oriented, adaptable, patient.
Background Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of professional experience.
