Main Purpose Of The JobThis role will be responsible for managing and maintaining AXA PH databases, ensuring they are secure, available, and performing optimally.Key AccountabilitiesDesign and implement new database systems and architectures, with a focus on MS SQL. Develop and maintain database standards and best practices Optimize database performance and resolve performance-related issues Monitor and maintain database security and integrity Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures Perform database backup and recovery operations Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues Ensure compliance with relevant policies Key StakeholdersInternal ITGraduated from a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle Experience with Azure cloud database services Experience with NoSQL a plus Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning Experience with disaster recovery planning and procedures Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Please visit for more information.A global leader in insurance and investments, AXA takes care of 103 million lives in 64 countries worldwide.
