The Business Development Senior Supervisor for Industrial Maintenance Projects is responsible for leading the growth and expansion of the company's maintenance services within industrial sectors such as cement, mining, renewable energy and water treatment industry. This role involves identifying new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and developing tailored maintenance solutions that meet client needs. The position also requires strong leadership to guide a business development team and coordinate with technical and operations units to ensure successful project acquisition and implementation.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities for industrial maintenance services, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance contracts.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with facility managers, plant engineers, procurement heads, and other decision-makers.

  • Lead the preparation of technical-commercial proposals, bids, and contract negotiations for maintenance projects.

  • Work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure accurate scope definition and service deliverability.

  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts within industrial maintenance sectors.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of business development professionals to meet KPIs and revenue goals.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in industrial maintenance (e.g., condition monitoring, CMMS, reliability engineering).

  • Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to senior leadership and contribute to long-term strategic planning.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards in all business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; MBA or business-related postgraduate qualification is a plus.

  • 5–8 years of business development or technical sales experience, preferably in industrial maintenance or related services.

  • Proven track record of winning long-term maintenance contracts and managing client relationships.

  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance methodologies and practices (TPM, RCM, CMMS, etc.).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to travel to client sites and industrial facilities as required.
