As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Services department. We undertake exciting projects at top-tier banks worldwide to implement our online banking solutions.

Your task is to manage projects globally and serve as a bridge between Backbase internal teams and our clients.

What you'll do

Backbase is a fast-growing and dynamic environment. This position makes you a key person in providing effective coordination and communication among all project stakeholders.

You will support customers and partners, advising clients on implementing their online applications using Backbase solutions to their full potential.

Who you are

5-8 years of experience

Experience in startup/scaleup environments

Managed a program

Agile coaching experience is beneficial

  • Use of Tools and Methods:

Strong knowledge of standard software tools related to your responsibilities, ability to answer colleagues' questions about these tools, and lead tutorials on best practices.

Ability to provide teams, colleagues, and customers with context on how software tools improve efficiency and effectiveness, promoting agile philosophy and practices.

Capability to create tools and processes for internal and external reporting.

Support strategic discussions based on reported data.

Address issues based on data analysis.

Ensure project effectiveness in terms of productivity and billability.

  • Client Management:

Identify business development opportunities and involve relevant stakeholders.

Design and facilitate client workshops.

Spot potential issues and minimize their impact through effective management.

Manage large transformation programs within a single customer.

Work with senior stakeholders to define long-term program strategies.

  • Project Team Management (internal):

Manage project teams effectively and resolve issues.

Proactively identify potential resources and coordinate with the resourcing team.

Train team members in Scrum methodology.

Manage multiple teams across large programs or multiple projects.

  • Change Management:

Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.

Influence and drive change initiatives.

Identify potential risks associated with changes early.

Mitigate impacts of changes and adapt plans accordingly.

Improve change management processes.

  • Risks and Issues Management:

Manage risks and issues at both project and program levels.
