Job Description

  • Product Development & Innovation
    • Develop new ingredient solutions and formulations for savory and bakery applications.
    • Customize existing products to meet specific customer requirements and regional preferences.
    • Conduct application trials, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life studies.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and translate them into product solutions.
    • Participate in customer visits, presentations, and co-creation sessions.
  • Project Management
    • Manage multiple development projects from concept to commercialization.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, processes, and test results.
    • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and customer samples.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work with procurement, quality, regulatory, and production teams to ensure feasibility and compliance.
    • Support scale-up and commercialization activities in collaboration with manufacturing.
  • Market & Trend Analysis
    • Stay updated on industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities in the savory and bakery sectors.
    • Contribute to ideation sessions and innovation pipeline development.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the savory or bakery segments.
  • Strong knowledge of food ingredients, formulation techniques, and processing technologies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel for customer support and trials as needed.
