Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare-focused team. This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional patient journey by bridging communication between patients and providers. Ideal candidates will have a BPO background with a strong emphasis on customer service and if they bring hands-on nursing or healthcare experience. As a Patient Support Specialist, you'll ensure that every patient interaction is empathetic, informative, and aligned with telemedicine best practices.

Onsite | Bridgetowne
Monday to Friday | 10PM - 7AM (Manila time)
Will follow US holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Connect with Patients: Conduct phone and video consultations to provide clear, accurate, and supportive communication to patients.
  • Simplify Medical Concepts:Translate complex medical information into easy-to-understand language for patients of varying backgrounds.
  • Eligibility Verification: Review and confirm patient eligibility and medical guideline adherence to streamline provider consultations.
  • Detailed Documentation: Accurately document case details and patient interactions to support continuity of care and follow-up processes.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality:Uphold strict standards in data privacy, confidentiality, and telemedicine protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with fellow team members and leadership, actively participate in team meetings, and contribute ideas for improving patient support workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a BPO setting with a focus on customer service.
  • Healthcare Background: Prior nursing experience or hands-on work in healthcare is required.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrates a proactive attitude, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willing and able to work night shifts and handle continuous inbound/outbound calls on-site.
