Account Manager for Furniture and Design Ventures

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales, developing client relationships, and collaborating with the Sales Manager and Senior Interior Designer to provide tailored product presentations that meet client needs. This role combines sales expertise, technical knowledge, and client interaction skills. This role involves engaging with clients, providing information and guidance, and facilitating the sales process.
Sales and Revenue GenerationIdentify and pursue sales opportunities for customized high-end to mid-end furniture products. Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the Sales Manager.
Customer Engagement- Showroom: Welcome and assist customers, both in-person and through various communications channels (phone, email, chat).
- Field: Travel to meet clients, conduct cold calls, and various location meetings.
Assist in showcasing and demonstrating furniture pieces, explaining features, materials, and benefits. Help customers visualize furniture in their living spaces through effective product presentation. Provide expert advice on design and style choices, coordinating furniture sets, and complementary pieces. Answer customer inquiries and address concerns related to furniture selection, quality, and pricing. Assist clients in accessing and navigating the material library, providing insights into available materials, finishes, and their sustainability for various projects.
Client InteractionEstablish and nurture strong client relationships through regular communication, understanding client requirements, and providing exceptional service. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing progress reports, and offering bespoke solutions. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by keeping clients informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Gather feedback and insights from customers to improve services and offerings.
Team CollaborationCollaborate closely with furniture designers or design architects to understand design concepts and customize product presentations based on client preferences and budget. Provide technical expertise and material knowledge to align product offerings with design requirements. Collaborate with the Senior Interior Designer to ensure that material submissions/presentations to clients are up to date and accurate regarding material specifications.
Product PresentationDevelop and deliver persuasive product presentations to clients, showcasing the company's capabilities, customized solutions, and design excellence. Effectively communicate technical aspects, material developments, and sustainability features.
Product KnowledgeStay updated on the company's product offerings, services, technical specifications, and material developments. Provide in-depth product knowledge to clients and address any technical inquiries. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our materials available for the specific project.
Client/Sales ConsultationConduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their design and furniture requirements. Understand customer design requirements to develop tailored solutions. Actively pursue sales leads, follow up on inquiries, and close sales deals.
Quoting and ProposalPrepare accurate quotations and proposals in collaboration with the sales manager. Provide accurate pricing information. Ensure that proposals align with client expectations and project budgets.
