Accountant (CPA w/ AUS Background - Office based, Kawit Cavite) Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Accountant to join our clients’ accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting tasks such as managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, reports, tax returns, compliance, and providing financial support. Work Setup Employment Type: Full Time Shift Schedule: Mon‑Fri, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Work Setup: Onsite Location: Cavite Client Industry: Dairy Product Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Undertake a range of financial‑management tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, other payments and routine reporting; ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, statutory and taxation requirements and procedures. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports for all cash deposits and perform daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data. Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, entering, posting and recording accounts receivable information. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly posted. Verify discrepancies and resolve client invoice issues. Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending reminders and contacting clients. Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports. Submit taxation returns such as GST, BAS/IAS and liaise with external tax specialists. Perform ad‑hoc analysis proactively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and appropriate resource allocation. Maintain and regularly reconcile credit card receipts, ensure that taxi vouchers, travel passes, e‑tags, petrol cards and other similar resources are appropriately controlled. Perform compliance obligations at all times. Perform other administrative duties as required. Support the Finance/Accounts Department as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CA/CPA or equivalent highly regarded but not essential. 5 years of experience in a related role. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting software such as Xero. Experience with HubSpot and Web Ninja. Advanced Excel skills. Superior organisational skills and ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines. Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond to enquiries in a timely manner. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Confident communicator with highly developed written and verbal skills.
