Senior Project Manager – Healthcare (Santa Rosa)
Location: Santa Rosa
Job Description: Healthcare Project Management (HPM) owns the project management and implementation process for GE Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging, including sales order review, customer meetings, project planning, design/layout, contractor interface, submission of documentation, issue resolution, and GE resources coordination (shipping logistics, installation and training).
Responsibilities:
- Manage wing-to-wing project delivery, with profit & loss accountability and customer satisfaction through management of project activities and resources.
- Lead complex projects, identify risks, maintain a project risk log, and develop action plans for early resolution.
- Provide leadership for customer issue resolution, improve contribution margin, site quality, vendor selection, and safety.
- Ensure installations and trainings are completed on time and to global standards, milestones, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive process excellence and safety.
- Travel as required; maintain knowledge of construction, regulatory, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field; related experience in project integration, sales, and service support (5+ years).
- Strong project management skills; knowledge of construction fields (civil, structural, architectural, electrical, HVAC) preferred.
- Ability to prioritize multiple priorities and work independently.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel; proficient in Windows and Office; knowledge of AutoCad or similar design tools; fluent in English.
Desirable:
- Healthcare medical equipment project management experience; hospital construction experience; cross-functional teamwork; professional certification is a plus.
