Roles and Responsibilities: - Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats. - Design new systems by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications. - Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications. - Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures. - Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget. - Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, IT analysts, consultants, and other organizations in analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of systems to ensure optimal operational performance. - Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions. - Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures. - Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, and training users. - Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. - Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. - Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, networking, benchmarking best practices, and participating in professional societies. Skill/Qualifications: - Software design, Software documentation, Software development process, Software maintenance - Analyzing requirements, teamwork, promoting process - System engineering concepts, Business case development, Modelling techniques - Ability to conduct Cost-benefit analysis Minimum Job Requirements: - At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience (Business Analyst/Data Analyst) - University graduate with a degree preferably in IT Course
