Client Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Director to lead the development and execution of our strategy for a specific set of assigned clients. You will be the primary point of contact for these clients, responsible for building strong relationships, understanding their needs, and proposing solutions that drive growth and value for both Acumen and the client. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty, while also fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive client relationship strategy to drive revenue growth and expand Acumen's footprint within assigned accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships, and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Proactively identify client needs and challenges and develop innovative solutions that align with Acumen's capabilities and expertise.
- Lead the proposal development process for new engagements with assigned clients.
- Manage the delivery of consulting engagements, ensuring successful project outcomes on time and within budget.
- Oversee the performance of assigned teams, promoting collaboration, efficiency, and team member satisfaction.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, revenue growth, and team effectiveness.
- Regularly communicate client progress and project updates to senior management.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices to inform client solutions.
- Build and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within assigned client organizations.
- Effectively analyze and interpret financial data to draw insights and support decision-making.
- Act as a proactive trouble-shooter, identifying potential risks and challenges early on and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
The role will be part of the Consulting and/or Capability Building Team and will report directly to the President & CEO.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in professional services or consulting, with a proven track record of success in client relationship management and business development.
- Creative and innovative thinking style to develop unconventional solutions that give clients a competitive edge.
- Strong understanding of client industry or willingness to learn quickly, supported by Acumen's Industry SMEs.
- Ability to develop deep and nuanced understanding of client's business
- Demonstrated leadership skills that prioritize collaboration and humility
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including Financial Acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, consulting, or a related field required.
- Experience working in a multinational company is a plus
