Job Summary

The Property Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate accounting records for assigned properties. This role supports property management by handling budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records for assigned properties.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and rent collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and property accounts monthly.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Generate financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with property managers regarding financial performance and tenant accounts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, Financial Management, Management Accounting or related field.
  • CPA license is an advantage.
  • Experience in property accounting or real estate industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
