Job Title: Finance Controller (Finance Advice Expert III)Work Setup: 50% HybridLocation: Makati Job Overview The Finance Controller plays a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for the CTO/COO organization. Reporting to the CFO of CTO/COO, this role supports financial transparency, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making. Based in Makati with a 50% hybrid work setup, the Finance Controller provides financial insights, oversees compliance, and collaborates across teams to drive performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Financial Close & Reporting Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Ensure timely and accurate financial statements aligned with IFRS/GAAP Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses Maintain close calendar and reporting timelines SOX Compliance & Internal Controls Manage SOX 404 compliance activities, including control tests and documentation Partner with internal and external auditors for walkthroughs and evidence collection Identify control gaps and recommend remediation Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations Financial Analysis & Data Insights Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Develop dashboards and reports for performance reviews Provide insights for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Support cost control and efficiency initiatives Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate with Controllers across regions and functions Partner with Finance Business Partners to support unit performance Serve as liaison between Finance and other departments Join cross-functional projects and transformation efforts Continuous Improvement & Systems Drive improvements in reporting and compliance processes Support system upgrades and automation (e.g., ERP, reporting tools) Maintain process and control documentation for audit readiness Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, audit, or compliance Strong knowledge of SOX and internal control frameworks Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and data tools (Excel, Power Query, Power BI) Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Preferred Attributes Experience in multinational or matrix organizations Familiarity with banking or financial services Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills Mindset for continuous improvement and adaptability to change #J-18808-Ljbffr
