Finance Controller

A leading financial services organization is seeking a highly qualified Finance Controller to support the Controllership function and eventually succeed the current Controller. It involves managing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls while leading a team of unit heads. Key Responsibilities: Oversee accounting operations including General Accounting, Tax, Billing, and Investment/Reinsurance AccountingLead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across departmentsEnsure timely, accurate, and compliant financial and regulatory reporting (IFRS 5, IFRS 17)Collaborate with auditors, regulators, consultants, and internal stakeholdersStrengthen risk management and internal controlsManage, coach, and develop a team of finance professionalsPrepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadershipContribute to long-term financial strategy and operational improvements Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines preferred1015 years of leadership experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in financial services or insuranceIn-depth knowledge of IFRS 5 and IFRS 17, and experience with statutory and regulatory reportingStrong understanding of internal audit, budgeting, and cost managementExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsProven track record of managing high-performing finance teams Work Setup & Benefits: Full-time, office-based role located in MakatiDirect exposure to C-level leadershipLong-term career growthOpportunity to shape financial strategy in a stable and reputable organization
