Job Summary

Telemarketing Sales Assistants takes charge of sales and marketing on the phone or cellphone, making sure the customer or prospect has a pleasant experience. He/she finds leads in the digital space, and sometimes follow up on leads generated by events, and monitors the sales journey from sales to payment to delivery. He/she also maintains continuous contact with the buyer and makes sure he/she becomes a healthy repeat customer.

Telemarketing Assistants may be students working on an hourly basis as long as work time is scheduled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets and educates customers accurately on the company’s products and different variants, health benefits and features, usage, price and promotions
  • Provides excellent sales and after sales customer service (esp during peak hours)
  • Informs customers or prospects of the company’s promotional activities
  • Provides customer information and feedback to theTelemarketing Sales Supervisor
  • Reports sales, expense, customer information, and other reports daily
  • Reports on customer feedbacks

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least High school graduate, though a college graduate of Marketing, Mass Comm, Advertising, Education or Health related field would be a plus
  • Friendly smiling voice and personality
  • Basic math and cellphone skills is a must
  • Possess critical thinking skills and solution oriented
  • Excellent persuasion skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Can work under pressure meeting sales quotas
  • Understands retail sales process, and consumer behavior principles
  • Possess a ready sales network of family, friends and relatives is a big plus
  • Proximity of residence to the office is a plus
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as assigned
