Operations Gateway Manager will promote continuous improvement in operations and proactively monitor SLAs with internal and external customers, sorting, cargo forwarding, loss prevention, and disposal procedures, including claims filing.

Develop and implement action plans to capitalize on opportunities for continuous improvement and execute programs aimed at reducing or eliminating potential losses for the organization caused by discrepancies, process deviations, and failures to meet KPIs and other Operational targets.

  • Lead and manage the quality objectives of Gateway operations by ensuring that inbound and outbound shipments are correctly sorted by their designated modes and destinations, while minimizing shipment damage.
  • He or she will be responsible for overseeing the flow of inbound and outbound shipments, considering all relevant factors such as transport schedules including cut-off time.
  • Provide overall direction in Managing Gateway Operations
  • Ensures efficient sorting, processing, and forwarding via AIR and LAND of Domestic and International shipments and that specified Airline and Operations cut-off are met
  • Establishes and maintains good relationship with Airline Partners
  • Oversee the team's adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that subordinates are guided in alignment with corporate personnel policies and procedures
  • Formulate initiatives and continuously improve gateway operations
  • Generate and execute action plans to further increase efficiency and manpower productivity
  • In charge of providing good services to multiple products and services offered by the Company
  • Ensures collaboration with other departments like Sales & Marketing, Operational Excellence team, Branches, including MIS team on system and processes related to gateway Operations
  • Responsible for the smooth flow of information though scanning of shipments for visibility
  • Responsible for implementing cost saving measures
  • Managing the Claims and Lost Inventory Management of the Operations
  • Manage the Supervisor, Team Leader, and Gateway Associates regarding work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and recommendations for personnel actions
  • Motivates employees to reach their highest level of productivity and performance.
