Role in a nutshell This role is a key position within the organization and is responsible for the onboarding of GEO workers and clients across the globe. The Onboarding/Implementation Specialist provides world‑class customer service to all new clients and their workers, setting the stage for a successful ongoing partnership between the client and Safeguard. The Onboarding Specialist works closely with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Operations, and in‑country partner teams to ensure employees are onboarded smoothly and compliantly. The Onboarding Specialist may also act as project leader to ensure successful and timely implementation of large volume or complex onboards. How you will make a difference Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process for GEO workers and clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout. Facilitate the creation, review, and approval of employment agreements, ensuring compliance with local legislation and HR standards. Collaborate with in‑country experts and local market specialists to deliver smooth and compliant onboarding experiences. Coordinate background checks, benefits setup, and completion of all worker documentation and data before transfer to Operations. Set up clients and workers within the Global system, issue relevant documentation, and adapt or create payroll calendars as required. Ensure accurate setup and deposit invoices are issued and payments are received in a timely manner. Participate in client calls as needed, addressing onboarding‑related queries and providing guidance to clients and workers. Follow up with clients to initiate or progress onboarding, offering support or solutions to resolve delays. Manage large or complex onboarding projects, ensuring timely delivery, SLA compliance, and high client satisfaction. Provide a detailed handover to the Operations team upon completion of onboarding. What will make you stand out Minimum of 2‑year experience in a customer service or client‑facing role. Work Shift – US Time Zone/Night Shift. HR administration/coordination or implementation experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts to clients. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize. High proficiency in problem‑solving. Self‑directed individual with initiative. Excellent attention to detail. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required. Strong geographical knowledge. Must have the ability to work in a fast‑paced and often changing environment. Highly organized with a client‑focused approach.
