Who The Client Is: The client is a boutique financial advisory firm dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve financial confidence through thoughtful, tailored strategies. Their approach goes beyond numbers — they focus on understanding each client’s goals, lifestyle, and values to create plans that genuinely support long-term stability and peace of mind. With a team of experienced professionals, they provide holistic financial guidance covering investments, insurance, cash flow management, retirement planning, and wealth protection. What sets them apart is their genuine commitment to building lasting relationships, offering practical advice in plain language rather than financial jargon. They pride themselves on integrity, transparency, and care, ensuring every client feels informed and supported at every step. Whether it’s planning for the future or navigating life’s financial changes, the client strives to make managing money simple, empowering, and stress-free. Role Overview: The client is seeking a Financial Planning Assistant to support their advisory team with high-level administrative and client service tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across financial advice processes — from managing client communication to preparing compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Australian financial planning, a strong understanding of compliance requirements, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients, including senior and retired professionals. This is a work‑from‑home position based in the Philippines, requiring someone who is detail‑oriented, accountable, and proactive in managing their workload. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily email correspondence and ensure timely client communication and follow‑up. Prepare, lodge, and track client account applications and associated documentation. Produce Records of Advice (RoA) and other financial planning documents in line with Australian compliance standards. Handle compliance‑related administrative tasks, including file audits and data maintenance. Support client onboarding, service reviews, and other ongoing advice processes. Maintain accurate and organized client records in CRM and financial planning software. Liaise with product providers and external partners as required. Provide proactive administrative support to the Financial Planner, anticipating needs and ensuring workflow efficiency. Deliver high‑quality, error‑free work and take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in an Australian financial planning, paraplanning, or client service role. Solid understanding of financial planning compliance and documentation processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and confident English tone suitable for speaking with older clients. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating accountability and reliability. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a remote setup with a reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace. Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and financial planning software (e.g., Xplan, AdviserLogic, or similar). A proactive mindset with a focus on achieving outcomes rather than meeting arbitrary metrics. Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement. To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to: Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”) #J-18808-Ljbffr
