Free 24/7 access to our office gyms (Ortigas and Makati) with a free physical fitness trainer Exclusive Emapta Lifestyle perks (hotel and restaurant discounts, and more) Unlimited opportunities for employee referral incentives across the organization Standard government and Emapta benefits 20 annual leaves to be used at your discretion (including 5 credits convertible to cash) Mentorship and exposure to global leaders and teams Diverse and supportive work environment Qualifications We Seek CPA with 5+ years experience in Australian Tax Accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a major in Accounting Expertise in Australian taxation – GST, FBT, CGT, Division 7A compliance Strong technical accounting, tax advisory, and analytical skills with sound commercial judgment Demonstrated ability to identify issues, provide solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders Proficient in accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, and Phoenix; familiarity with Reckon APS and Business Fitness is an advantage Experience in primary production taxation highly regarded Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement High attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines Collaborative and dependable team player who builds positive internal relationships Consistently meets productivity and turnaround targets with accuracy and professionalism Your Daily Tasks Apply tax knowledge including the preparation of tax returns, activity statements, and awareness of the latest Australian tax rules Prepare work papers and reconcile them to the financial statement stage Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and lodgements for companies, partnerships, trusts, and complex individual businesses Assist clients with tax planning, FBT, payroll tax, and STP Support business advisory projects such as budgets, cashflows, and management reporting Ensure documentation including work papers and client files are maintained per compliance standards About the Client Our client is one of Australia’s leading integrated financial advisory firms, offering expert services in tax, business consulting, and wealth management.
