Fixed Asset Accountant We’re Smartsourcing, seeking a meticulous and solutions‑focused professional to join our growing team full‑time, on‑site. If you’re passionate about asset management, reconciliation, and making sense of operational data, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the fixed asset register for motor vehicles Process entries for finance leases, loans, and disposals accurately and on time Support the purchasing and disposal of fleet vehicles Reconcile bank, fixed asset, lease liability, and tax accounts Investigate and clear reconciling items within the following month Calculate and process month‑end journals promptly Handle registrations and insurance (CTP/Rego) with precision Ensure all vehicle documentation is up to date and compliant Analyse operational data to spot trends, patterns, and opportunities Deliver reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track business performance Conduct damage and maintenance cost analysis Partner with the Fleet Admin team and cross‑functional teams to improve workflows Assist with system implementations (e.g., Looker) Tackle ad‑hoc projects as needed Requirements At least 5 years of accounting experience Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IFs, INDEX MATCH) Experience collaborating with operational teams (fleet admin a big plus) Sharp eye for detail and strong reconciliation skills Self‑starter with excellent time management and proactive mindset Experience working with deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively Why You’ll Love Working Here Weekends off – we respect your time off 5‑day Christmas Leave Healthcare from Day 1 for you and your family Free lunch and barista‑crafted coffee daily Subsidized gym membership and sports wellness clubs (hiking, free‑diving) Smartsourcing Exclusives (deals made just for you) Themed BFFs, monthly knockoffs, summer parties Community give‑back programs and personal development workshops Apply now and be part of Smartsourcing’s growing team #J-18808-Ljbffr
